A discrete barn installation
We were brought in by our partners at the Llama Group and Janey Butler Interiors, to help with the complete renovation and extension of an existing barn and ensure that the new technology being installed was one of two things: either the main focus of the area or discreetly hidden away.

The details
We worked closely with Llama to provide seamless and sympathetic installation to their designs, suggesting a recessed TV and in-wall speakers which would also allow them to make use of the free wall space with floating shelving.
Once we had worked with the client to finalise what equipment they wanted and also make allowances for the future, we decided it would be possible to house everything in cupboards at low level in the media wall. We provided all of the sizings to ensure the wall construction was perfect to the nearest mm allowing us to have the front of the TV flush with the rest of the wall as well as a minimal recessed surround to allow for installation and maintenance.

Lighting control
We installed Lutron grafik eyes and keypads to control the lighting circuits inside as well as the external LED's by the SkyFrame corner glazing. The use of lighting scenes incorporating both these indoor and outdoor circuits adds to the feel of this as a single space when the doors are open. We concealed LED lighting strips within the media wall shelving and all of the other lights fittings were also energy efficient LED's.
Media Room
A 65 inch Plasma was the main focus of the wall with 3 in wall B&W speakers. To keep costs down we used a regular B&W subwoofer and modified a frame and grille from another model to allow this to also be house in the wall, but match the rest of the grilles.
