With modern video distribution systems you are no longer limited by the number of Sky Q boxes you are allowed or the fact you only have one CCTV Device. You can have pixel perfect 4K video from any source sent to every TV without the need for black boxes in dedicated furniture or equipment in the rooms. If you want to pause what you are watching in the cinema and retire to bed where you can finish the movie, its as simple as turning off one room and switching on the next.

Bespoke audio & video systems

CENTRALISED EQUIPMENT

One of the major changes of a distribution system whether it be for audio or video, means that we locate most of the equipment in a centralised rack. This has a few benefits. The first is that you no longer need to have Skyboxes, Apple TVs or other sources connected to the TV. Modern TVs are now so thin that if they are going to be wall mounted they take up very little space so its then a shame to have to try and accommodate all of the local sources within the room. Additionally ,if we have everything within a rack, we can have full control of the power management, and therefore easily reboot devices if required.
SKY Q 4K EVERYWHERE

With the modern Sky Q system you are only able to have one box which is capable of outputting 4K video. The additional boxes that sky supply are only 1080p. There is a Sky streaming service which offers multiple 4K boxes, however, for the moment if you like Sky Q, the interface and the ability to record programming, then you will need a video distribution system if you want to watch 4K in more than one room. With a centrally located Sky Q 4K box, we can distribute 4K programming directly to every TV in the house.
CCTV ON SCREEN

Most of the time it will be sufficient to look at the CCTV camera feeds on the touch panel or on your phone or tablet, but other times viewing on the TV would be most convenient. If you are watching TV or a movie and someone presses the doorbell, we can automatically pause what you are watching and change the TV over to the CCTV camera that covers the entrance gate, quickly showing you who is outside and allowing you time to open the gate and let them in without missing any of what you are watching.
MEDIA SERVERS

Media servers such as the Kaleidescape system offer both convenience and quality by allowing you to download 4K Blu-ray quality movies to a hard drive and choose which film you want to watch via their unparalleled video cover system interface. If you decide it's unlikely that your family would need to watch content from a media server in two rooms at the same time, then you can simply install a single unit and send it to all TVs via the distribution system.
