Smart home control systems

Realising every possibility

Our integrated systems provide a single point of control, eliminating the need for multiple remotes, visible wiring, and reducing the amount of technology on display to maximise the aesthetics of your home. This can be accomplished through elegant wall-mounted touch screens, handheld remotes, or dedicated phone and tablet apps.

We take a bespoke approach to every smart home system that we design & install

Modern homes contain a surprisingly large amount of technology that needs a cohesive design that takes into consideration the assorted systems. Without this a homeowner can be left with at best, a complicated assortment of ways to control everything. At worst you can end up with systems actually working against each other. We can bring all of the technology together with a simple to use and powerful control system to make the everyday tasks a pleasure and the previously impossible tasks as simple as pressing a single button.

A smart home system makes the coffee table full of remote controls and the phone full of assorted control apps a thing of the past. Taking things one step further than just simplification is automation, where we can schedule repetitive tasks such as the opening and shutting of blinds or ensure that when you leave the house and set the alarm, every light or even every TV is switched off.

TESTIMONIALS

Bespoke Smart home systems

  • CENTRALISED CONTROL

A centralised control system ensures that all of the technology in your home is working as one efficient and connected entity. All of your entertainment needs can be accessed at the push of a button and individual systems can communicate and operate as one.

As a homeowner and user you don’t care which black box is doing which task, you just know that you want to sit down in your media room, dim the lights and lower the blinds, switch on the TV and select a given streaming service or video source and just start watching. When you press ‘Netflix’ on the Crestron remote and all of these things happen at once, that’s when you can really see the benefit of a centralised control system.

  • TOUCHPANELS & REMOTES

For all of the complex integration and communication that goes on behind the scenes, as a user you just want to see a simple, stylish and user friendly interface. We typically use two main interface methods to the system - handheld remotes and touchscreen devices. For the times when you are sat down to watch TV, a remote control that you can just pick up off the sofa and press a single button to switch on the TV, select the service you want and dim the lights is perfect. When you might be cooking in the kitchen and want to adjust lighting scenes, select a playlist and show the CCTV to check when guests are arriving, an on wall touch screen is the ideal solution.

  • HIDDEN WIRES

Whilst there are many systems that can operate wirelessly and these capabilities are getting better every year, it will always be better to have a physical connection where possible. Some aspects of home technology may always require a physical connection for the highest quality experience, so ensuring your home has a physical infrastructure in place is one of the most important parts of any smart home. It is a cliche, but the most expensive cable is the one you forget to put in. It’s much more cost effective to properly design and install a well considered cable infrastructure at the build stage, than it is to revisit things in 5 or 10 years time and try to get extra cables installed after everything is completed.

  • AUTOMATED PROCESSES

Even simpler than systems being programmed at the push of a button is having them automated and working without any user input at all. If you leave home and set your alarm we can have the control system turn out all of the lights, switch off any TVs or music that may have been left on and lower the blinds. If you are still out when it starts to go dark, we can have certain blinds raise and rooms illuminate to give the impression that the house is occupied. If you are home when the sun sets, we can have communal areas like corridors and hallways slowly brighten to create complete ease of movement around the home.
