Most innovative installation

We are thrilled to announce that one of our recent projects, named 'The Man Cave', has won the ITSA Award for Most Innovative Installation. This project was a rare opportunity that truly embodied the "custom" aspect of custom installations.

An existing client wanted to transform their basement car park into a one-of-a-kind man cave, with a rotating turntable as the centerpiece to display one of their supercars. The brief was to create a space that Tony Stark would be proud of. Of course, this was no easy task, and the finished product was more akin to the Batcave than a man cave - a subterranean lair of the utmost luxury, complete with some of the coolest controls and presets a man could ever hope for, whether he be a mere mortal or, as the brief stated, Iron Man.

The custom Crestron interface, designed to reflect Tony Stark's technology, allows the owner to rotate the car at will. Detection settings enable the music to start playing and the car to start revolving automatically whenever someone enters the room.

“We are delighted to win this award and thoroughly enjoyed working on this project. It’s not often you get to create something like this!”

Stephen Nevison - Owner Intuitive Homes
